The Family Child Care Task Force was created by the Minnesota Legislature in 2019 to discuss and make recommendations related to family child care licensing and the Parent Aware program. This report was submitted by the Family Child Care Task Force pursuant to Minnesota Laws 2019, 1st Special Session, Chapter 9, Art. 2, Sec. 132. This summary restates the duties assigned to this task force and the corresponding recommendations. The task force did not examine cost implications for these recommendations. (author abstract)
