2021 needs assessment: Indiana Head Start and Early Head Start

This is a profile and analysis of the Head Start and Early Head Start activities across the State of Indiana as revealed by data collected in January of 2021. Sections include enrollment, eligibility, urban/rural analysis, enrollment by program type, center-based program schedule breakdown, grantees, and comprehensive services. Sections contain discussions of the possible effects of COVID-19 on the statistics. The report then addresses Indiana's statistics in the following Federal priority areas: Early Head Start/child care partnerships, child outcomes, career development, high-quality care, and school partnerships.
