A national scan of QRIS: Goals, quality assurance and monitoring, quality standards, and financial incentives in 2019


This research by the Johns Hopkins University IDEALS Institute evaluates 2019 Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS) policies from 39 states using a rubric to compare QRIS goals, quality assurance and monitoring, standards, and incentives. This comparison is intended to be used to improve policies for Maryland EXCELS and Maryland accreditation.
