The Math for Parents and Children Together (MPACT) initiative was designed to promote preschool children’s early math skills. To encourage parents to spend more time promoting their children’s math skills at home, MPACT provides activities that parents can do with their children to promote math engagement, shows them how to integrate math learning into everyday routines, and encourages parents to spend time in math activities. This study enrolled parents and their children from Head Start centers. (author abstract)
