The voices of early care and education: A qualitative perspective on providing and accessing high-quality early care and education

Description:

To better understand the perspectives surrounding quality ECE, the Federal Reserve System’s Early Care and Education Work Group, in partnership with Public Works Partners, hosted a series of focus groups with providers and parents with young children (younger than 5). These sessions helped provide qualitative insight into the lived experiences of providers and parents when it comes to accessing and providing quality ECE, the tradeoffs from both parents and providers to meet the demand for services, and the areas of opportunity for support.
