This executive summary presents key findings from the survey of IDEA Part C and Part B 619 state data systems in all 50 states, Washington, DC, and Puerto Rico. There is an overview of state-level data systems and data elements collected, a summary of how states use cross-agency data linkages of Part C and Part B 619 with other early childhood programs, and other findings about data system administration and data usage. The summary concludes with highlights of changes to state data systems from 2013 to 2019 and recommendations for the future.
