Description:
This is a study about the use of racial equity considerations by community development financial institutions (CDFIs) in their lending decisions for the ECE sector. The consultants identified six anti-racist practices that CDFIs should continue, as well as areas of growth to reduce lending bias. Examples and recommendations are presented to illustrate how CDFIs could improve their commitment to equity in financing early childhood programs.
