DaSy collects comprehensive information on the status of Part C and Part B 619 data systems through the State of the States survey, which comprises a survey of Part C program staff developed in coordination with the IDEA Infant and Toddler Coordinators Association and a parallel survey of Part B 619 program staff. Findings from the most recent survey, conducted in spring 2021, are now available in a compilation of data tables. The State of the States Data Tables present the aggregated frequencies from the survey items, representing responses of state staff in the 50 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. State staff and others can use these data to understand the national status of state data system capacities; deepen their understanding of state data system elements, functions, and features; and identify areas for potential enhancements or improvements for their own systems.
