This appendix includes examples of recent state and local program efforts to recruit and retain a strong EGE workforce. The examples include efforts funded by annually appropriated CCDF and Head Start funds, American Rescue Plan and other COVID-19 relief funds, Tribal MIECHV funds, Preschool Development Grant B-5 funds, or a combination of these funding streams and state investments.
