Sharing maps of child care supply and demand with policy and program staff can help stimulate data-informed discussions about child care issues facing your state, territory, or tribal agency. This webinar is designed to support CCDF lead agency staff and partners in mapping access to care across their state or other region. The webinar covers (1) “Mapping 101,” a review of basic mapping terms, concepts, and resources; (2) a presentation from a research partner in Pennsylvania on mapping child care deserts; and (3) a presentation from CCDF Lead Agency staff in Wisconsin on mapping trends in provider locations across the state. Following the presentations, speakers address questions from the moderator and the audience. (author abstract)
