To document how states access and strategically use federal funds to support ECE systems and the workforce, we interviewed 29 national and state experts. We outlined promising approaches and then convened national experts and leaders from five states selected to represent different parts of the country, state agency structures, and political contexts—Georgia, Illinois, New Mexico, Texas, and Washington. This fact sheet summarizes key findings from these undertakings. (author abstract)
