An overview of Scandinavian policy, practice, and research on the adjustment of child care policy as part of efforts to reduce the social inequality affecting children from disadvantaged populations, and an outline of the Action Competencies in Social-pedagogical Work (ASP) project, a Danish teacher-training-based intervention designed to improve the outcomes of young at risk children
