Description:
The purpose of the 21st CCLC program evaluation is to provide: (a) descriptive information regarding the implementation of these programs, (b) process data that will assist the project staff in continually improving the quality of services to the students and their families, (c) outcome data that will assist the programs in determining the extent to which the program achieved its anticipated outcomes, and (d) required data to meet the federal NCLB, Title IVB program requirements. The evaluation was and will continue to be accomplished by collecting data across multiple sources and forms using both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The evaluation design is based upon a utilization-focused approach (Patton, 2012) and utilizes the same continuous improvement model developed by the Nebraska Department of Education for school improvement planning.
