This testimony describes select tribally-administered and federally-funded programs for young children of Native American heritage, including the Tribal Home Visiting Program, Child Care and Development Fund, Head Start/Early Head Start, Race to the Top-Early Learning Challenge, the Tribal Early Learning Initiative, the early childhood programs of the Administration for Native Americans, and Early Head Start/Child Care Partnerships.
