Minnesota's great workforce for early care and education: 2013 annual report

As part of the Race to the Top Early Learning Challenge Grant, the Office of Early Learning agreed to produce an annual report highlighting efforts and outcomes for workforce development funded through the grant. When defining the scope of this annual report, the decision was made to include efforts that may not be directly funded by the grant, but are closely tied to its workforce development goals. Beyond what is included in this report, conversations continue among stakeholders working to improve early childhood learning outcomes and kindergarten readiness across the state. This report outlines key goals, strategies and progress that was made during the 2013 calendar year for a set of early childhood workforce development topic areas. (author abstract)
