As part of the process evaluation for the Contracted Slots Program, OSU conducted an on-line survey of directors from all the Oregon Head Start Pre-Kindergarten programs (OHSPK) and Oregon Programs of Quality (OPQ). The purpose of this survey was to get initial perceptions on the value of the Contracted Slots Program and reasons for participating or not participating in the program. In addition, we collected program characteristics, contract status, challenges in negotiating a contract and recruiting children, and program revenue. We asked OHSPK programs about their program model, the combination of services they offered. (author abstract)
