This webinar features three presentations on global level issues and initiatives in the field of early childhood development, addressing the following topics: (1) implementation of the Early Childhood Workforce, a global initiative that focuses on the country system and policy level to scale-up quality services for young children; (2) financial investment in early childhood development services, including public funding and international financing trends; and (3) measurement of development in children from birth to age three at population level, including initiatives such as the Caregiver Reported Early Development Index (CREDI), the WHO Child Development Indicators Project, and the Global Child Development Group.
