Preschool Development Grants: Progress update

Using 2015 data, this brief provides an overview of the progress made by eighteen states (Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Vermont, and Virginia) to expand access to high-quality preschool through the Preschool Development Grants program. Topics include the number of children served, child care slots and their funding, quality standards, early learning reforms, program settings, student demographics, and service to children with disabilities.
