Race to the Top - Early Learning Challenge: Achievements and lessons learned from regional QRIS implementation

Share
Description:

This report was prepared by VIVA Strategy + Communications on behalf of the Bay Area Quality Early Learning Partnership. It summarizes regional findings, recommendations, and lessons learned from 2012-2015 in implementing Early Learning Race to the Top Challenge Grant (RTT). In addition to working with partners during regional QRIS implementation, VIVA conducted individual interviews with the leadership of each First 5 Commission participating in the Partnership. These findings were used to inform five topic-specific briefs. Each brief includes information about the Partnership's work and lessons learned through their collaborative and individual processes. In addition, regional QRIS implementation has led the Partnership to identify numerous recommendations for changes that are needed to support the vision of quality and next steps for the Partnership's own efforts. These recommendations and next steps can be found in each brief. (author abstract)
