Part of a series based on the Bay Area Quality Early Learning Partnership's experiences implementing quality rating and improvement systems (QRIS) in California between 2012 and 2015, this brief focuses on the development of the early learning workforce. It provides an overview of workforce development in relation to QRIS and the role of higher education, along with respective recommendations regarding system changes and higher education.
