Results--links between spatial assembly, later spatial skills, and concurrent and later mathematical skills

Description:
This section provides some of the results of a longitudinal study that uses a spatial measure, the Test of Spatial Assembly (TOSA), and that considers early spatial skills, measurement reliability, the prediction of spatial and mathematical skills at age 5, and factors that contribute to differences in preschoolers' skills development. Results regarding whether early spatial skills predict later spatial and mathematical skills are presented.
