Stability of teaching staff in LAUP programs

Description:
Overall, the literature demonstrates that turnover rates in ECE tend to be high, and that turnover, quality, and child outcomes are closely tied. LAUP's mission is to provide access to quality ECE programs in order to give children a strong foundation that ensures positive outcomes. Given these links and LAUP's mission, it is important to understand the turnover and retention rates among LAUP providers. The focus of this study is to examine turnover rates and retention rates, and to determine how they may be linked to program quality among LAUP providers. (author abstract)
