Variations in Implementation of Quality Interventions (VIQI)

Description:
This project is studying through a rigorous experimental design the relationship between levels and features (i.e., process, domain-specific, instructional quality) of child care and early education (CCEE) classroom quality and children's outcomes... Questions about the quality-child outcomes relationship will be addressed in the context of an in-depth implementation study to understand the conditions necessary to plan, install, and implement evidence-based interventions that will produce changes in quality levels and dimensions and in child outcomes in CCEE classrooms at different levels of initial quality. CCEE classrooms will include those in Head Start and community-based child care centers serving children birth through age 4-years, not yet in kindergarten.
