Head Start and TANF: Moving forward

Description:
This volume provides findings from two studies: 1). Status report on the use of assessment tools in Head Start programs in Puerto Rico (Ortiz-Reyes), the first exploratory look at the assessment measures, processes, and tools used in Puerto Rico's Head Start and Early Head Start programs, and 2). Financial capability training and coaching for Head Start and TANF participants (Miranda & Burgos), in which a group from each program that received financial education and coaching was compared to two control groups that did not receive the workshops.
