Nutrition Education Aimed at Toddlers (NEAT) curriculum

Description:
The purpose of this article is to describe the Nutrition Education Aimed at Toddlers (NEAT) curriculum, a series of 4 lessons and 18 reinforcing activities designed to help rural, low-income parents gain the knowledge and skills needed to help their toddlers acquire healthful eating habits. The NEAT curriculum is based on Social Cognitive Theory (SCT), in which personal factors, environmental influences, and behavior interact. (author abstract)
