This report provides a portrait of Head Start programs, including characteristics of programs and management staff, supports provided to staff at all levels, and program services. It is part of a series of reports describing data from the 2009 cohort of the Head Start Family and Child Experiences Survey (FACES 2009). A set of accompanying data tables (Kopack Klein et al. 2017) contains additional information on the study design, instruments, and measures used for this report. (author abstract)
