This student assessment report provides VDOE and the 11 school divisions participating in the VPI+ program with information on children's development in fall 2016. Specifically, the report documents the kindergarten entry outcomes in fall 2016 for 1,146 children who participated in VPI+ during the 2015-16 school year (also referred to as VPI+ Cohort 1). The report then presents the assessment results for 1,771 Cohort 2 children who were enrolled in VPI+ in fall 2016 (referred to as VPI+ Cohort 2). (author abstract)
