Colorado Shines quality rating and improvement system: Evidence review

This report summarizes the findings from Child Trends' examination of the existing research evidence to support the inclusion of the recently launched Colorado Shines quality categories, particularly as they pertain to the promotion of positive outcomes for children. The report is organized according to the five "Quality Standard Categories" of the Colorado Shines system: Workforce Qualifications and Professional Development; Family Partnerships; Leadership, Management, and Administration; Learning Environment; and Child Health.
