As part of the Race to the Top-Early Learning Challenge Grant, Minnesota agreed to produce an annual report highlighting efforts and outcomes for workforce development funded through the grant. When defining the scope of this annual report, stakeholders decided to include efforts that, though not funded directly by the grant, align closely with its workforce development goals. Beyond what is included in this report, conversations continue among stakeholders working to improve early childhood learning outcomes and kindergarten readiness across the state. This report outlines key goals, strategies and progress from the 2015 calendar year for a set of early childhood workforce development topic areas. (author abstract)
