Teachers' voices: Work environment conditions that impact teacher practice and program quality -- Miami-Dade County

Description:

The following report presents the findings from the 2018 Miami-Dade County SEQUAL study conducted in the spring of 2018. The study shares the perspectives of teaching staff employed in center-based programs in Miami-Dade County, including those that participated in the county's QIS, Quality Counts, those that participated in other support initiatives, as well as programs that did not participate in any of the initiatives available. Variations in teacher assessments by center location in low- or middle-to-high-income census tracts were also observed. Following a description of the study design, this report will explore major findings drawn from teaching staff responses. (author abstract)
