Description:
The Division of Child Care Services provided the child care provider contact list. The electronic list included all registered and licensed child care providers in South Dakota, as well as those providers in the process of registration or licensure. The 913 providers surveyed included 488 Family Child Cares, 223 Child Care Centers, 54 Group Family Child Cares, and 148 Out-of-School Time Programs. Unregulated providers and relatives are not included in this study. (author abstract)
