Reversing the loss of infant toddler child care slots in Denver: Community solutions to supporting the well-being of expectant parents, babies, and toddlers

Denver's Early Childhood Council has been examining the child care supply and access issues for infant and toddler care in their city. They examined existing data and interviewed parents, providers, and stakeholders to search for barriers to service provision. They identified 1) low provider compensation, 2) unintended consequences of policy, and 3) administrative burdens.
