This report summarizes the Child Care Fund (CCF) performance audit, which was conducted based on the following objectives: (1). To assess the sufficiency of MDHSS's efforts in monitoring the appropriateness of CCF expenditures reimbursed to counties and tribes. (2). To assess the timeliness of MDHSS's CCF expenditure reimbursements to counties and tribes. (3). To assess the sufficiency of MDHSS's efforts to approve county and tribe CCF annual plans and budgets that comply with State statute and CCF Handbook requirements.
