Building a stronger child care sector in Michigan requires a fresh look at how the state finances child care, and the commitment to think creatively and act boldly to build the child care system that parents need to work and children need to thrive. Building a child care system that works for families and Michigan’s economy will take an infusion of new funding, as well as the repurposing of revenues already available. (author abstract)
