Paid family leave and affordable child care are integral to a strong prenatal-to-3 system of care

As of February 2021, a total of nine states and the District of Columbia have adopted policies providing for paid family leave statewide, and the Prenatal-to-3 Policy Impact Center conducted a systematic review to identify the causal impacts of such statewide policies requiring employers to offer paid leave benefits.
