The intersection of TANF and child care

Description:

This report provides a national overview of Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) expenditures on child care. It examines trends in TANF spending on child care (5-year and 20-year) and the intersection of TANF and Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) funding. Recommendations for TANF reauthorization are included. Appendices contain data on State TANF spending on child care, along with TANF and CCDF funding for FY2000-FY2019.
