Standards of care: Investments to improve children's educational outcomes in Latin America

An assessment of the relationship between school outcomes and socioeconomic status (SES), an estimate of the magnitude of effects associated with risk factors relevant to childhood educational attainment, a presentation of a framework the use of findings from international studies to prescribe "standards of care" based on relevant predictors of early childhood outcomes, and suggestions on ways to improve the capability to monitor progress in early child development based on data on from twelve countries in Latin America
