This report presents the results of the 2021 Child Care Market Rate Analysis conducted by DHW. The primary goal of this analysis is to develop reasonable estimates of the distribution of rates that Idaho child care providers charge the general public . These rates are known to vary by the age of the child, the amount of time the child is being cared for, and the geographic location of the provider within the state. The 2021 market rate analysis was conducted between January and May of 2021. (author abstract)
