The intent of this research initiative was to document the progression and functioning of five of the New Brunswick Childhood Development Centres that had participated in the Margaret and Wallace McCain Family Foundation's (MWMFF) three-year demonstration evaluation. Participating centres involved those in the Carleton-York-Victoria (CYV) Network, as well as La Boussole in Kent County. The goal of this initiative was to monitor the progress of these centres during the first year of the province's rollout of its three-year action plan, Putting Children First: Positioning Early Childhood for the Future.
