The outreach for this study began in September 2014 and went through February 2015. Most rate updates were reported in December 2014 and January 2015. A uniform database has been constructed to store and compile the data for each of the six CACs. The Care About Childcare Agency at Utah State University analyzed the compiled data. The child care rate data was provided to DWS, for additional analysis of the market rate percentiles and statewide trends. The data is analyzed by evaluating the following factors: (1) provider license type; (2) reported provider rates; and (3) child care service, by age of child. (author abstract)
