The preceding briefs in this series present findings on the first four research questions and discuss the experiences of parents and caregivers with informal child care and the networks they use in Detroit and Wayne County, Michigan. In this brief, we seek to answer the fifth question by discussing barriers to providing high quality informal child care in Detroit and how to overcome them. (author abstract)
