A dozen policy questions you can answer with your agency’s administrative data: A webinar for Child Care Development Fund Lead Agencies

Description:

CCDF administrators and their staff are surrounded by agency data on subsidy eligibility and payments, licensing, Quality Rating Improvement System (QRIS) ratings, complaints, violations, and other aspects of program operations. This webinar is designed to support CCDF Lead Agency staff and their partners in using existing administrative data to address policy questions posed by state legislators, agency heads, local child care providers, and other stakeholders. The webinar covers (1) a dozen policy and operational questions that CCDF lead agencies have addressed with administrative data; (2) tips for using administrative data; and (3) presentations from CCDF Lead Agency staff in Georgia and Massachusetts about how they used QRIS and licensing data to answer policy and operational questions of interest to their agency. Following the presentations, speakers address questions from the moderator and the audience. (author abstract)
