The purpose of this evaluation was to explore the effectiveness of Hartford Grow in influencing practices and work culture within participating early childhood care settings. Were there changes in teachers’ day-to-day practices and interactions with children? Did the program influence teachers’ beliefs about their impact and role in promoting children’s development? If so, how did participation in the program bring about these changes? (author abstract)
