The Child Care and Development Block Grant (CCDBG) is the primary funding source for federal child care subsidies to low-income working families. CCDBG is also the primary support in most states for the child care system and infrastructure, as well initiatives for improving child care quality. Based on state-reported data from the federal Office of Child Care, this fact sheet provides a snapshot of CCDBG program participation in 2013. (author abstract)
