Marcy Whitebook and Bethany Edwards from The Center for the Study of Child Care Employment (CSCCE) at the University of California, Berkeley present findings from "California's ECE Workforce: What We Know Now and the Data Deficit That Remains" and "The Early Childhood Workforce Index 2018." Erica Greenberg from The Urban Institute presents her findings from "Are Higher Subsidy Payment Rates and Provider-Friendly Payment Policies Associated with Child Care Quality?" and "Segregated from the Start."
