The Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) contracted with the American Institutes for Research (AIR) to conduct an evaluation of the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) program for the 2011-12 school year. The 21st CCLC programs are designed to provide opportunities to enhance students' academic well-being, sense of school belonging, and long-term academic success.
